TOURISM

     The tourism industry in Santander is brisk because of its crystal clear waters, white sand beaches and magnificent sunrise and sunsets. There are more than 10 resorts scattered in Barangays Poblacion, Looc, Liloan and Canlumacad, some of which offer diving facilities. Santander also has a marine sanctuary located in front of what was formerly the Sanayon site in Barangay Pasil.

     Aside from that, the Municipal Government is currently beefing up efforts to promote other sites with potential for heritage and cultural tourism, such as its two watchtowers, its newly discovered waterfalls, various old trees and houses rich with local legends and folktales.
